Smoke Alarms
  • Smoke alarms are designed to detect low O2 Levels or as you may know SMOKE
  • Smoke alarms are a low cost early warning device that can aid in saving you life.
Installing Smoke Alarms
  • Before installing a smoke detector locate the areas of your home that you reside in with shut doors.
  • We recommend that you place a smoke alarm out side the doors of these areas.
  • All bedrooms should have a smoke alarm placed outside the bedroom door.
  • We also recommend that you do not place a smoke alarm above your cook stove (alarms may go off while cooking).
  • IF YOU ARE UNSURE WHERE TO PLACE YOUR SMOKE ALARMS OR REQUIRE ASSISTANCE INSTALLING THEM PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT.

Q. How often do I need to test my smoke alarm?
A. You should test your smoke alarm at least once every month.

Q. How often do I need to replace my batteries?
A. Twice a Year. We recommend replacing your batteries when the time changes.
